Aika labyrintiltä tämä näyttää ja hirveän korkealta jalustalta, mutta autojen tasosta päätellen on autotallin lattia maanpinnalla eikä taivaissa tai montussa. Ontelolaatat on Petrin mukaan seuraavat asennukset. Hän on tilannut lattian alle tulevat stryroxit, joilla nyt ensin suojataan perustus talvea vastaan. The foundation looks like a labyrinth and it seems to come quite high up, but concluding from the cars on the parking place, the future garage is still on the earth surfice and does not rocket to the skies or sink into the rocks. The pre-fab concrete slabs are the next ones to be laid on top of the foundation. Muutama kuva tilanteesta viikonloppuna 17-18 lokakuuta. Luntakin on jo satanut, joten pojilla on kiire saada perustus valmiiksi ja peitot päälle. Vesilaitoksenkin kanssa löytynee sopuratkaisu eikä minun tarvitse maksaa 5000 euroa tyhjästä. Kuvissa on autotallin ja keittiön kohtaa ja kellarin seinän rakennusta. Ontelolaatat ovat kilpailutuksessa parhaillaan.

A few pictures of the situation over the weekend 17-18 October. It has snowed the first time so the guys have it busy to get the foundation completed and covered for the winter. It seems that a good solution to the unjustified additional connection fee for water-sewage was found last week and I can use the 5000 euros for something which brings this project forward. Also Roya, my sister's golden retriever, made an inspection mission to the site.

Talon pohjan perustustyöt on tehty ja salaojat kaivettu ja peitetty. Kuvissa näkyy myös maalämmön poraus 220 metriä peruskallioon. Tästä kivimassasta rakentaa aidat vaikka naapureille. Se varastoidaan toistaiseksi tien ja mäen väliseen rotkoon.
The bottom of the foundation has been done and the rain water channels piped and covered. You see in the pictures also the drilling of the thermal heating 220 metres down into the base rock. These stone masses will be enough to build the stone fences even for my neighbours. The stone will be stored for the time being in the "valley" between the house and the road leading to the area.

Nyt on saatu perustuksen pohja tehtyä ja salaojat paikalleen. Kuvissa näkyy myös maalammön poraus autotallin kulmalla 220 metriä peruskallioon. Kivimassat varastoidaan toistaiseksi mäen ja tien väliseen rotkoon. Tästä määrästää rittää aidantekotarpeita vaikka naapurille.

The bottom of the house foundation has been completed and the rain water channels installed. Perjantaina 2. lokakuuta kävin veljeni Juhan kanssa toimittamassa tontille ison puukelan jossa on alumiinikaapeli jolla sähkö tuodaan taloon. Otin samalla muutamia kuvia valtavista kivikasoista ja työmaasta.
On Friday 2nd of October I visited the building area with my brother Juha. We delivered a big wooden reel with aluminium cable with which electricity will be brought to the house. At the same time I took couple of pictures of the enormous rock piles ja generally of the construction site.

Kallion räjäytys ja tien vahvistus - site preparation continues

Torstaina 24 syyskuuta räjäytettin noin 500 kuutiota peruskalliota, jotta tuleville hilloille, mehuille ja muille puutarhan tuotteille on säilytystila kellarissa. Varmaan sillä hinnalla olisin ne ostanut kaupastakin, mutta eihän kaikkea voi rahassa mitata eikä mikään ole niin tärkeätä kuin puutarhan hoito, varsinkin eläkepäivillä. Vesilaitos on sitä mieltä, että purettavankin talon osalta on maksettava liittymismaksu, 5000 euroa! Se on seuraava viranomaistaisto.

Tontille vievä tie myös vahvistettiin, jotta se kantaa rekat ensi keväänä, kun tilaelementit toimitetaan. Vahvistettava ja parannettava se olisi ollut joka tapauksessa, joten tulipahan ainakin alustettua se homma.

On Thursday 24 Sep some 500 cubic metres of rock were exploded away to accommodate the cellar for the jams, marmelades, juices and other products from my future subsistance farming.

The road to the site was also improved to allow heavier vehicles to enter the site next spring with the house frame and roof pre-fab elements.

Saving euro 5000 from the water-sewage connection is the next battle with the communal water authority. I decided to draw upon environmental protection - construction time waste water will go into the nature instead of flowing into the sewage if I am required to pay for nonesense.

Seuraavat kuvat tässä. Kirjaston puolen pääty täytyy sittenkin räjäyttää. 500 kuutiota arviolta. Rinne ei laskeutunutkaan kallion osalta niin jyrkästi kuin arviot olivat. No tuleepahan lisää kivimassaa aidan ja rannan rakentamiseen.
Vihdin kunta ilmoitti, että myös vanha purettava talo lasketaan mukaan viemäriliittymismaksua taulukoitaessa. Projektinjohtaja Petri arvioi, että tulemme toimeen porakaivon vedellä ensi vuonna ja liittyminen hoidetaan vasta aivan viime metreillä, kun ollaan valmiita purkamaan vanha talo. Halusivat 5000 euroa kunnalla vanhan talon liittymästä ! Eikä sitä edes olisi palautettu purkamisen jälkeen. Ahneella on ... Kunta saa liittymismaksut vasta ensi vuonna.

Next pictures enclosed. After all we have to explode 500 cubic meters of basic rock at the library end of the house to accommodate the cellar. Never mind, bit more expenditure but we will more stone material for the long fence and the shore landscaping.
Vihti municipality wanted to include also the old house which is to be demolished into their pricing of the water-sewage connection fee. that would have costed me additional euro 5000. Luckily the project manager thinks that we will survive with the ground water well which is there and we will connect to the communal sewage system only when we are ready to bomb down the old house. Greedyness has a shitty end - I will pay the fees only next year.

Työt alkoivat vihdoin ja viimein 21.9. Tässä todisteena ensimmäiset kuvat. Projektinjohtaja Petri sanoo, että taloa pitää siirtää kolme metriä oikealle järveltä katsoen, jotta vältytään räjäytyksiltä. en ole oikein ihastunut ajatuksesta.

The works started finally as evidenced by the pictures enclosed. My project manager Petri tells me that the location of the house has to be moved appr. 3 meters to the right seen from the lake in order to avoid bombing out the ground rock. I am not so fancy about this proposal.
